Our heart failure specialists
The Outpatient Heart Failure Clinic is staffed by board-certified acute care nurse practitioners. The clinic serves as an extension of our local healthcare providers.
We understand the importance of evaluating a patient with heart failure and that scheduling can be difficult when physicians have high patient volumes. So, when physicians encounter numerous patients, we are here to help promptly serve those patients.
Our heart failure services
As an integral part of our cardiology program, our heart failure specialists provide the following services at our clinic:
- Rapid hospital follow-up (within 24-72 hours post-discharge)
- Comprehensive heart failure education for both the patient and their family
- Medical therapy (consistent with evidence-based practices)
- Emergent intravenous diuretic therapy
