20 days available to all house staff.
Two monogrammed lab coats and five (5) sets of scrubs are provided.
Health and Dental Insurance
House Staff receive comprehensive health and dental insurance with a variety of options; single coverage and family coverage options provided. Insurance coverage is provided to the House Staff under the same options, rates, terms and conditions available to all other Hospital exempt employees.
Disability and Life Insurance
The Hospital will provide long and short term disability and life insurance to House Staff under the same options, rates, terms and conditions available to all other Hospital exempt employees.
House Staff are covered by the hospital’s professional malpractice insurance while performing duties within their scope of medical education program.
Worker’s Compensation Insurance is provided to the House Staff, consistent with the Hospital’s benefits program.
On-Duty Meal Allowance
The Hospital provides a private physician dining room with meals provided at no charge. Meals are of no charge when on duty.
Complex Exam Part III
The hospital will subsidize the cost of this exam for all PGY1s.
Hospital will pay PGY1 House Staff AOA dues.
Registration Fee for ACLS Course
Free to all House Staff.
Florida Registration as an Osteopathic Physician
The Hospital pays for the Florida State Registration required for physicians in training.
An additional $2000 stipend is given to PGY2- PGY6 to be used for educational purposes, licensing fees, etc.
Parking on campus in designated areas is provided at no charge.
