Northside Hospital CEO to Serve on the American Heart Association Board of Directors

St. Petersburg, FL – The American Heart Association announced the appointment of two new members to the Tampa Bay board of directors. Stephen Daugherty, CEO of Northside Hospital and Tampa Bay Heart Institute, and Dr. Robert Sanchez, cardiologist at The Heart and Vascular Institute of Florida and Director of Non-Invasive Cardiology for The Tampa Bay Heart Institute at Northside Hospital.
Stephen Daugherty recently served as a Mission:Lifeline liaison and on the Heart Walk executive leadership cabinet helping the 2010 Heart Walk raise $1.64 million. Dr. Sanchez is currently serving as the My Life Check chair encouraging the community to know their numbers and adapt healthy lifestyle behaviors.
